Commercial heat pump for warehouses: Kita Air importers and distributors wanted in the USA
This page is for HVAC importers, distributors and wholesalers. Templari is an Italian heat pump manufacturer looking for an importer or distributor in the United States for the Kita Air, its commercial air-to-air heat pump for warehouses. We do not sell to homeowners or to individual contractors: our partner handles sales, installation and service in its territory.

An industrial heat pump built for warehouse heating and air conditioning
The Kita Air heats warehouses, workshops and distribution centers in winter and cools them in summer with one machine, with no water loop and no plant room:
- 116,000 to 162,000 BTU/h (34 to 47 kW) per unit today, and up to 239,000 BTU/h (70 kW) at 19 °F (-7 °C) outdoor with the new model;
- one unit for every 4,300 to 5,400 sq ft (400 to 500 m²), for buildings from 3,200 to 320,000 sq ft;
- heating down to -13 °F (-25 °C) outdoor temperature, with our patented defrost;
- R32 refrigerant, inverter compressor, electronics and controls designed in-house;
- split or ducted indoor unit, outdoor unit on the ground, wall or roof.
New: Kita Air up to 70 kW
A new Kita Air model is coming, with up to 239,000 BTU/h (70 kW) of heating at 19 °F (-7 °C) outdoor temperature. For large warehouses and distribution centers this means fewer units for the same building, fewer outdoor units on the roof and fewer connections to install.
Replacing gas-fired unit heaters
The Kita Air takes the place of a gas-fired unit heater one to one: same position, same air throw, no pipework to change. For owners who want to move a warehouse off gas or propane, it is the shortest route to electric heating with air conditioning included.
Kita Air installations, inside and outside
Real installations in warehouses, workshops and factories: indoor units on walls and ceilings, outdoor units on the ground, on walls and on roofs.
Who we are
Templari invented the indoor-outdoor heat pump for warehouses: an outdoor unit and an indoor unit heater connected directly by the refrigerant, with no water pipes and no boiler. The Kita Air has been on the market since 2015. It is designed and built in Italy by Templari, a heat pump manufacturer near Padua since 2006, with its own electronics and inverter control.
- More than 4,000 installations in Italy;
- 230,000 kW installed, about 785 million BTU/h;
- 2.4 million m² heated and cooled, about 26 million sq ft;
- 4.4 stars on Google from 187 reviews;
- largest order so far: a 150,000 sq ft aircraft engine maintenance center near Rome, with 36 Kita Air Plus units.
North American versions
We are preparing the Kita Air for the North American market, including 60 Hz electrical versions and UL certification. We are selecting distribution partners now, so that the first installations are made with companies that know their territory.
What a distribution partner receives
- Technical documentation, selection support and building heat load checks from our engineering team.
- Training for your technicians, in Italy or on site.
- A direct line to the factory for commissioning and service; spare parts from stock.
Questions distributors ask
Is the Kita Air UL listed? Not yet. We are preparing UL certification and 60 Hz electrical versions for North America, and we are choosing distribution partners now so that the first installations start with them.
Which refrigerant does it use? R32, an A2L refrigerant with a GWP of 675.
How is it installed? Like a large split system: the indoor unit connects directly to the outdoor unit, up to 30 m (98 ft) apart. A unit is usually installed in one day, with no hydronic work.
How loud is it? The low-speed inverter fan gives up to 75% less noise than traditional unit heaters and chillers.
Who handles service? The distribution partner handles first-level service on the units it sells and installs; our engineering team gives technical support, spare parts and training from the factory.
Who we are looking for
HVAC importers, distributors and wholesalers with a commercial and industrial network. One strong partner per territory is enough: it imports, stocks, sells through its own contractors and provides service. We are not looking for agents, consulting engineers or individual installers.
