We are proud to announce that La Repubblica, one of Italy’s major national daily newspapers, published an article on Templari on Friday 18 July 2025, in its Focus Innovazione e Sostenibilità section. It was a chance to tell how we develop technology for thermal comfort in production spaces.
The article shows how innovation is part of our DNA: our history is made of bold technical choices, often against the trend, which led us to design solutions that tackle today’s energy challenges in practice.
At the centre of the article is Kita Air, our line of air-to-air heat pumps designed for industrial buildings. The project started in 2014 with the first 40 kW unit, when the market offered few effective alternatives for large spaces. The idea was clear: comfort, continuity of operation and sustainability in one solution.
“We decided to develop a machine from scratch, entirely in Italy… Kita was the first European heat pump to combine inverter technology and vapour injection.” Gianluca Masiero

Among the strengths highlighted in the article:
- Easy installation, so the system is up and running quickly.
- Remote control, with web-based management and integration with photovoltaic systems.
- Sustainability: R32 refrigerant, with a much lower GWP than the R410A used in traditional systems.
The article closes on a theme that matters to us: sustainability is not something added to technology, but a principle that guides every decision, from design to installation. Templari solutions are designed to help decarbonise the residential and industrial sectors, with real, measurable energy self-sufficiency.
Being featured in La Repubblica makes us proud and confirms that we are on the right track: innovating responsibly and putting technology at the service of businesses.
